How do I turn it on?
Firing up S Beam on your GALAXY Note II is as easy as going to the Settings menu, then More Settings, to toggle the feature on.
In the same menu, make sure that NFC (Near Field Communication) is also fired up, and remember to do this on both phones for S Beam to work properly.
How do I make a transfer?
Easy! Just navigate to the specific contact, song, movie or photo you want to S Beam, grab the friend you want to share it with, and then hold your Galaxy Note II back-to-back with theirs.
You'll be prompted to tap the screen to initiate your transfer, then – as soon as you move the phones away from each other – it will begin, without you needing to do anything else!
Can I only transfer small files?
No – that's the joy of S Beam. Because it uses Wi-Fi Direct tech as well as NFC smarts, you can easily share hefty movie files and songs.
