The Nokia Lumia 900, announced as an AT&T exclusive at CES, could soon be available on rival networks to according to new reports.
The WinSupersite is running a rumour that just 45-days after the Windows Phone device becomes available on AT&T, the likes of T-Mobile and probably Verizon will also get their hands on the device.
Sources at a "rival wireless carrier" have told the site that the 4.3-inch device will likely arrive on other networks in the third quarter of 2012.
The Lumia 900 is rumoured to launch on March 18th exclusively on AT&T, although Nokia nor AT&T have revealed whether the exclusivity is permanent.
Nokia phones on Verizon?
TechRadar spoke with a Nokia representative at CES 2012 about this very matter, who repeated that the device was an AT&T exclusive.
She told us that the manufacturer is in talks with all of the networks to bring its Windows Phone devices to the widest range of customers.
The Finns are currently in the process of rebuilding ties with the major carriers in the US following a long self-imposed exile from selling Symbian devices stateside.
Lumia 710 free on contract
Meanwhile Nokia and T-Mobile are dangling a carrot to get users on-board with the recently released Lumia 710 Windows Phone device.
The mid-range handset is now available to own for free on a two-year contract from Wal-Mart outlets.
