A new image has popped up online claiming to show the much vaunted Motorola X Phone, and it appears to sport a different design to previous leaks.
The snap was passed to HotHardware from an "inside source", and apparently shows Motorola's next flagship device which appears to keep the same industrial design of the likes of the Razr HD and Razr i.
According to the unidentified source the X Phone packs a 4.8-inch, 1280 x 720 display, 2GB of RAM and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean - so a couple of slight departures from previous rumours which suggested a 5-inch screen and either Android 4.3 or Key Lime Pie.

Apparently we can also expect two versions of the Motorola X Phone, with the full-fat X arriving alongside a pared down "X M" model - possibly in a similar vein to the Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S3 mini.
The handset may well end up being called the Motorola X, as the source claims information on the device they have acquired states that name.
There's no mention of a Motorola X Phone release date or price, but other rumours point towards next week's Google IO conference as a possible launch platform - so there may not be long to wait.
