We've managed to nab some hands on time with the Xperia U, Sony's latest smartphone to tackle the more youth-friendly market.
The phone features a number of specs from its Xperia P and Xperia S bigger brothers, such as a Reality Display powered by Bravia, and a 5MP camera plus xLoud technology for better audio clarity.
The transparent strip at the bottom of the phone will glow with different colours depending on your action on the phone, and to entice the kids, there's a range of detachable caps for the base of the phone too.
