Although it was a phone we saw back in February, we've now got an Orange San Diego UK release date and price - and it looks like kind of a big deal.
The phone, originally released under the pseudonym of Orange Santa Clara, is one of the first to use Intel's Atom CPU (named Medfield), and also supports super-fast connectivity thanks to HSPA+ connectivity (think up to 21Mbps on the go).
What else? A 4.03-inch screen, 1080p video capture, the ability to take 10 photos in a second through burst mode of the 8MP camera.
It smells of rich mahogany...
We're still waiting for the full list of specs at the moment, but many will be looking at the above and thinking: 'Well, I've already seen all that with the HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy S3'.
Here's the kicker then: the Orange San Diego will be available in the UK from June 6 at the impressive price of £199.99, or £15.50 per month on contract. For a phone with a speedy CPU and some top end features, Orange will once again be in a great position to attract the budget phone lover.
Of course, there's the irritating issue of Android 2.3 being the platform of choice – but fear not, an Ice Cream Sandwich update is in the works, apparently landing around September.
We'll be getting our handset in shortly, so there's not too long to wait for those itching to read our full Orange San Diego review... you just stay classy.
